About Myself |
|
I am a budding photography enthusiast currently based in Petaling Jaya. Currently working as an IT consultant,
and graduated as an engineer, I recently found my passion in the area of photography. My passion began when I
bought my first camera last year which was a prosumer model. After shooting numerous occasions, I decided to
improve myself and the equipment I used and switched to a Digital SLR camera. Ever since then, I knew I wanted
to constantly improve my skills and to put into place one of my principles, which is "lifelong learning".
I started off shooting landscape photography and taking on the occasional events held by my company and my
client and moved towards shooting portraits and finally found my desire in the area of wedding photojournalism.
Why wedding photojournalism one might ask? Well I know that in this area, the photos I capture can mean a lot
more to people especially the happy couple as they can always look back and cherish their happiest day by looking
at these pictures. It is all about capturing the moment at the right time, accurately.
My concept of wedding photography is mainly that towards of photojournalism where I not only photograph
the formal events but I constantly look for feelings of emotions and expressions of the bride and groom, their families, their friends and everyone
participating on a day which most people consider their happiest moment in life. My style is to create a new concept, one that is appealing and
stylish and at the same time deliver the same quality of photos throughout the event. Different shooting styles can range from candid shots,
important moments, expressions and emotions as well as black and white or sepia photos.
